Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to provide critical BAU infrastructure support within a large enterprise environment.

This is a 3-month contract through to the end of June, focused on maintaining the day-to-day operation, performance and security of core IT platforms across office and site-based users.

What are you going to do

Key responsibilities include:

Ensure day-to-day operation, administration and support of the core IT platform
Manage Windows Server, Active Directory and enterprise infrastructure environments
Support Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 / Office 365 and cloud services
Maintain system availability, performance and security across infrastructure platforms
Implement and control changes in line with ITIL processes
Act as a key technical escalation point for infrastructure issues
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across business-critical systems
Support both office-based and site-based users across multiple locations
Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and internal IT teams
Contribute to continuous improvement across infrastructure operations

Essential skills and knowledge

Essential:

Strong experience as a Systems Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer
Strong technical capability across:
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365
- Nutanix
- PowerShell
Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills
Experience working within enterprise infrastructure environments
Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
