Introduction

What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise structural fabrication, assembly, and installation activities on the FPSO.
  • Ensure structural work complies with design specifications, drawings, codes, and standards.
  • Monitor progress and quality of structural works, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, safety, and construction teams for smooth operations.
  • Conduct inspections and oversee Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) for structural components.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to structural work progress and quality.
  • Assist in manpower planning and provide technical guidance to the structural workforce.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in Civil, Structural Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in structural supervision on FPSO or offshore oil and gas projects.
  • Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, welding, and installation techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (API, ABS, DNV, etc.).
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
