Performs document control and information activities for the Onshore Project.
Works independently within agreed work practices and contributes to improving document control and information management processes whilst ensuring strict levels of confidentiality.
What are you going to do
Logs and checks documents received by transmittal from the Contractor's Document Controller for correctness and completeness to ensure alignment and understanding by all involved.
Records the "due Date"(if reply is required), applies distribution in accordance with the Project's Document Distribution Matrix DDM) and distributes documents to meet Company expectations at final handover and project close-out.
Generates outgoing transmittals to the Contractor's Document Controller and other parties and assists in maintaining the transmittal log or register.
Assists in receiving, logging and distributing correspondence received from external parties and distributes any other Project documents in accordance with PMT requirements.
Coordinates and verifies the status, relevance and currency of data and documentation received from internal and external sources before placing them in the archive and/or uploading in appropriate management system.
Provides general daily assistance to the PMT in all matters relating to technical documentation and correspondence and monitors the Project MDR, to verify the status and progress of documents issued.
Follows up and expedites open and overdue document reviews in accordance with PMT requirements.
Conducts quality assessments of Contractor documentation and data and implements corrective action to rectify any anomalies.
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
High School (Year 12) Certificate
5 years' document control experience preferably in a technical project environment with significant practical knowledge of hard copy and electronic document control and information management systems.
