Introduction

This role involves electrical maintenance and operation of generator systems, with full training and ongoing support provided.

What are you going to do 

  • Perform electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on power generation equipment, including diesel and gas generators, control panels, and auxiliary systems
  • Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance in accordance with established schedules
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts usage, and system status
  • Adhere to site safety protocols and electrical compliance standards
  • Work effectively within a site based team to ensure safe and efficient operations

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Trade-qualified Electrician (Electrical Fitter Mechanic or equivalent)
  • Keen to develop knowledge specific to power generation equipment and systems
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to troubleshooting
  • Safety focused with good communication and teamwork skills
