Brunel is proud to partner with a premier LNG developer in the Gulf Coast Region. We're actively recruiting for a dynamic Safety Advisor with a strong field presence and a proactive mindset to help lead safety efforts on a major capital project. This is a long-term contract with real impact.

What are you going to do 

As a Safety Advisor, you'll be a vital part of HSE, supporting safety leadership. This is a boots-on-the-ground role where your work will help protect lives and shape the long-term safety culture of a world-class LNG facility.

  • Monitor and enforce compliance across all construction zones and work fronts.
  • Partner closely with contractors, field supervisors, and project engineers to embed safety into every task.
  • Lead and support daily toolbox talks, JSAs, risk assessments, and pre-task planning.
  • Conduct audits, site inspections, and behavior-based safety observations.
  • Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Mentor field teams on OSHA compliance, best practices, and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Help lead site orientation and onboarding for new workers and subcontractors.
  • Serve as a trusted bridge between the safety department and daily field execution

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • No less than 7 years of experience in construction HSE roles
  • LNG, oil & gas, or petrochemicalindustry is required
  • Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 (Construction Safety), and related regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong field presence.
  • Proven ability to build rapport with craft labor and leadership alike.
  • CSP, CHST, OSHA 500/510, or other HSE certifications.
  • Valid TWIC or eligibility to obtain one.
