Introduction

Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio, our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of their townhouse project in South Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable builder with a solid presence across Australia and a long-standing history of successful residential developments.

What are you going to do

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve smooth project delivery.

  • Oversee and coordinate daily site operations for townhouse projects
  • Manage and schedule subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
  • Ensure all works are delivered in line with safety, quality, and compliance standards
  • Monitor progress against program and drive timely delivery of key milestones
  • Manage site resources and logistics effectively
  • Conduct site meetings and liaise with stakeholders, consultants, and head office
  • Review and implement site safety, ensuring WHS requirements are adhered to at all times
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail throughout the build
  • Troubleshoot and resolve site issues efficiently to avoid delays
  • Provide leadership and guidance to site teams to foster a positive and productive culture

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential construction, ideally on townhouse or medium-density projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methodology and industry regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction
  • Must have QBCC license and own vehicle
