What are you going to do

The Site Manager will lead and oversee all electrical and automation commissioning activities on site, ensuring all systems are installed, tested, and handed over in full compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent coordination skills to deliver projects safely, on time, and within quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Manage day‑to‑day site operations for electrical and automation commissioning.
  • Ensure activities align with project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.

Commissioning Management

  • Plan, execute, and monitor commissioning work for electrical and ESA systems.
  • Systems include MV & LV switchgear, transformers, control panels, HVAC, and power management systems.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all works meet QA/QC standards, statutory regulations, and client requirements.

Coordination

  • Work closely with commissioning teams, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Address technical issues promptly to maintain workflow efficiency.

Documentation

  • Prepare and update commissioning schedules, progress reports, test records, and handover packages.

Safety Oversight

  • Enforce site safety protocols and conduct risk assessments for all commissioning activities.

Troubleshooting

  • Identify and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning phases.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical & Automation Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of electrical commissioning experience
  • in industrial, modular E‑House, or construction environments.
  • Proven experience in electrical commissioning within construction or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical & automation systems, testing procedures, and commissioning standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Contract Length: 7 months
  • Location: Seatrium Tuas yard, Singapore
  • Employment Type: 7‑Month Contract (subject to extension)
  • Work Week: 6 days per week
  • Hours: Standard site working hours, or per-site schedule
