Introduction

We are seeking experienced E&I Technicians for upcoming shutdown works, offering competitive pay and a strong local roster. This is a great opportunity to work locally, be home every night, with an immediate start and consistent shutdown hours until 19 May 2026.

What are you going to do

As an E&I Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimising electrical and instrumentation systems within a lithium hydroxide processing facility. Your work will be critical in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations such as:

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems across lithium processing equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults in control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation components used in lithium processing operations
  • Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with site standards and regulatory requirements in a high-risk lithium processing environment
  • Collaborate closely with operations and maintenance teams to provide electrical and instrumentation support and minimise plant downtime
  • Assist with commissioning, calibration, and testing of instrumentation systems, ensuring accuracy and functionality within lithium processing control systems
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with operational and maintenance teams to ensure timely resolution of electrical and instrumentation issues
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, calibrations, and maintenance activities in line with site requirements
  • Actively participate in safety meetings, hazard assessments, and uphold strict zero harm principles in a lithium processing environment

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Electrical Trade Qualification
  • Current Western Australia Electrical Licence (Unrestricted)
  • Certificate IV in Instrumentation
  • EEHA certification (desirable)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR/LVR Certificate
  • Working at Heights and Confined Spaces (preferred)
  • Valid C-Class Driver's Licence
  • Current National Police Clearance (within 12 months) or ability to obtain
  • Extensive demonstrated electrical experience in chemical processing facilities
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong commitment to safety and zero harm principles
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
