Lead the shift to ensure a safe, efficient and reliable operation of the Onshore Assets by controlling the shifts activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, instructions and targets.
Operations shift management crews to achieve and maintain safely the Onshore Assets optimum production levels.
Provides the overall 24-hour direction management of LNG Trains Process, Fractionation, Sulphur Recovery, Helium Recovery, Utilities, Offsites, PMP and Wastewater units in the Plant.
What are you going to do
Leads the overall management and troubleshooting of LNG Trains, Sulphur Recovery Unit, Utilities and Offsite facilities to ensure optimum production levels are attained for LNG, Condensate and By-products.
Responsible for the safe ramping down, shutdown and decommissioning of the Plant units and timely handover for maintenance work to the shutdown team and is responsible for the safe start-up at the end of the shutdown.
Analyze plant performance to ensure maximum efficiency and optimum recovery and discuss performance issues with Operations Specialist, concerned Shift Supervisors, Process Engineers, Maintenance team and participate in the engineering reviews.
Coordinate the analysis for the maintenance activities backlog in all Assets/Areas and decide with the Asset Managers on the way forward to ensure the maximum availability of the units.
Participate in the development of operating procedures and conduct continuous reviews to identify potential enhancement and ensure that entire Assets personnel have undergone required procedures competency assessments.
Maintain consistency of performance of shift crews and adapt the shift pattern and resources to optimize operational efficiency and minimize overtime of the Shift team.
Assess complex issues that impact operations such as new projects tie-ins in running plants and simultaneous construction / operations activities to identify and ensure implementation of needed mitigations.
Facilitate work continuity and procedural compliance through application of own technical and operational expertise, authorizing works, coordinating activities, keeping interested parties apprised of progress and ensuring availability of necessary resources.
Act as Incident Commander during emergencies with responsibility for deciding on first line intervention action until relieved by Senior Management.
Provides instructions or coordinate implementation of emergency plans, plant shutdowns and start-ups.
Analyze team’s individual performance and identify training gaps.
In coordination with training section implement the required training and OJT competency tasks.
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
10 years diversified Oil and Gas Operations experience, out of which 5 years spent as Shift Superintendent.
Ability to coach employees and contractors of diverse backgrounds and levels.
Self-starter and able to anticipate the changes required.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with diverse workforce.
Problem solving skills.
Exhibits professional conduct and integrity in business practices.
