Our client is a leading mining organisation with operations across Western Australia. Due to ongoing workforce requirements and project activity, they are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment across corporate and operational functions.

What are you going to do

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment across a range of technical, operational, and corporate roles. This position will partner closely with hiring managers to deliver effective recruitment outcomes and ensure business-critical roles are filled with high-quality talent.

This is a Perth-based rolling contract role supporting ongoing hiring requirements.

  • Manage full end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple disciplines including operations, engineering, maintenance, technical, and corporate roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop recruitment strategies
  • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, direct sourcing, and talent pooling
  • Conduct candidate screening, shortlisting, and interview coordination
  • Provide market insights, salary benchmarking, and recruitment advice to stakeholders
  • Manage recruitment campaigns and maintain active talent pipelines
  • Coordinate offer management, reference checks, and onboarding
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment legislation
  • Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, or Talent Partner
  • Experience recruiting within mining, resources, engineering, or heavy industry environments
  • Strong experience managing end-to-end recruitment
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS platforms
  • You must have current right to work in Australia to be considered for this role

Desirable:

  • Experience recruiting FIFO, site-based, and technical roles
  • Experience within owner-operator mining environments
  • Knowledge of the Western Australian mining market
  • Experience with ATS systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or PageUp
