Senior Reservoir Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer to join our client. This role will be instrumental in leading subsurface evaluations, conducting reservoir simulation studies, and providing technical expertise to support the development of an integrated reservoir management plan.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that reservoir characterization, performance forecasting, and development strategies are optimized to maximize asset value. This position requires a strong technical background, analytical capability, and the ability to contribute to strategic decision making that will shape the project's success through its development and execution phases.
Lead reservoir engineering studies, including material balance, decline curve analysis, and dynamic reservoir simulation.
Integrate geological, geophysical, and production data to develop comprehensive reservoir models.
Provide technical input into reserves estimation, production forecasting, and uncertainty analysis.
Support field development planning by recommending well placement, completion strategies, and production optimization.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (drilling, facilities, subsurface, and geoscience) to ensure integrated project execution.
Contribute to decision-making during the FEED stage by delivering reliable reservoir evaluations and risk assessments.
Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
Ensure all reservoir engineering work adheres to company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum 10 years of experience in reservoir engineering within upstream oil & gas projects.
Strong expertise in reservoir simulation, dynamic modeling, material balance, and decline curve analysis.
Proven track record in field development planning and reserves estimation.
Experience working in FEED, development, or production phases of offshore gas projects.
Strong understanding of well performance, completion design, and production optimization.
Familiarity with industry-standard reservoir engineering software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG, PETREL RE, or similar).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and lead technical discussions.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
