What are you going to do

  • Develop and optimize C&P digital tools, processes and reporting.
  • Develop and upgrade SAP/S4Hana MM, dashboards and C&P tools and be the key C&P SAP S4/Hana user
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using CI tools.
  • Lead process optimization, automation and digitalization initiatives.
  • Identify risks, perform controls, and prepare compliance reports.
  • Co-ordinate to develop and update all C&P related policies and procedures, ensuring that they meet C&P best practices, statutory and changing business requirements.
  • Ensure to communicate that the C&P policies and procedures are understood clearly by relevant parties through training sessions, internal communication, and accessible documentation.
  • Continuously monitor compliance with policies and procedures and enforce them through audits and corrective actions when necessary.
  • Develop and upgrade SAP/S4Hana MM, dashboards and C&P tools.
  • Lead requirement gathering, testing, deployment, and ensuring consistency.
  • Be Key user of S4Hana development ensuring best technological solutions are analyzed, tested and implemented
  • Assist COMPANY in any questions, maintenance actions and tools evolution needs in Procurement, Contracts in respect of general rules and procedures defined by COMPANY and in coherence with other already existing/under implementation SAP Modules.
  • Advise and assist COMPANY in defining solutions and developments related to C&P tools (SAP, Coconut, e- sourcing, Supplier Manager Tools…)
  • Ensure the consistency of changes made on other SAP modules (link to other Business : Operations, Logistics, Maintenance, Finance, Controlling, HR…) or external applications with C&P requirements by participating in activities and meetings affecting the functionality of all C&P tools
  • Evaluate and analyze regularly that the processes and operations in C&P meet the compliance standards.
  • Identify risks within the C&P processes and address the risks by ensuring to have relevant controls in place.
  • Regular monitoring of identified risks for the C&P department by performing the controls and preparing relevant reports to give an overview to the C&P Management as per timelines agreed.
  • Drive improvements using CI tools and process mapping.
  • Lead automation and digitalization initiatives.
  • Ensure the consistency of changes made on other SAP modules (link to other Business: Operations, Logistics, Maintenance, Finance, Controlling, HR…) or external applications with C&P requirements by participating in activities and meetings affecting the functionality of all C&P tools
  • The job requires good knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry and its environment. The job holder works in close collaboration with purchasing activities, procedures, suppliers, and other entities.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • BSc Degree in Science or Commercial field or its equivalent
  • 8 years post-graduate experience in his/her field and the O&G industry, or its equivalent.
  • Contract engineer experience or equivalent.
  • Advanced level in SAP and reporting tools
  • MS application advanced knowledge required.
  • Very good verbal and written communication and planning/organizing/coordinating.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BW
  • Proficiency in oral and written English
  • Proficiency in communication skills
