What are you going to do

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Experience Designer (UX) to support the design and delivery of user-centred solutions for internal systems and business-critical tools within a complex Trading & Supply environment.

You will lead the experience design process from discovery through delivery, partnering with users, business analysts, developers and stakeholders to understand requirements, validate assumptions and translate insights into practical, testable design solutions.

  • Lead end-to-end experience design activities across discovery, definition and delivery.
  • Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews and usability testing.
  • Facilitate workshops and co-design sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Develop journey maps, user flows, wireframes and low- and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Design complex, data-rich workflows and operational interfaces.
  • Work closely with developers to support accurate design implementation and handover.
  • Apply established design systems, accessibility standards and usability principles.
  • Balance user requirements with business objectives, regulatory considerations and technical constraints.
  • Manage ambiguity and drive design activities independently across complex projects.
  • Support junior designers through peer reviews, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to improving the team’s design practices, processes and ways of working.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in User Experience Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Systems (IS), Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Software Engineering, Psychology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in UX, UI, experience design or product design.
  • Demonstrated experience across the full design lifecycle, from research and ideation through to delivery.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma and FigJam, including interactive prototyping and design systems.
  • Experienced in creating journey maps, UX flows, wireframes and prototypes.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design craft, structured problem-solving and measurable impact.
  • Experience designing data-rich tools, workflow solutions, enterprise platforms or operational systems.
  • Good understanding of accessibility and usability standards, including WCAG and ISO 9241.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Confident facilitating workshops with users and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder-management and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently within complex, fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
  • Trading, commodities, energy, risk-management or financial-services experience would be advantageous.

  • Working Arrangement: Full-time, 40 hours per week
