About the Company:

Our client designs, builds, and delivers high-performance marine geotechnical drill rigs and coring solutions for the global offshore, oil & gas, and renewables sectors.

With over a decade of industry expertise, they are recognized for their reliable systems, hands-on technical support, and dedicated driller crews. As demand in offshore wind and geotechnical services continues to grow, they are expanding their team — and are looking for passionate individuals ready to build a meaningful career in offshore engineering.

  • Develop and review technical specifications and documentation to meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Review engineering designs to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Identify and promptly communicate potential technical issues to stakeholders, ensuring project coherence and quality.
  • Oversee the design approval process and coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve technical challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of drawing revisions, updates, and project documentation.
  • Use CAD software to perform drafting tasks based on project specifications.
  • Collaborate with consultants and internal project teams to refine and develop design concepts.
  • Provide technical and design support to the engineering and project teams.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in the marine or offshore sector.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting using AutoCAD, with relevant technical expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., ABS, DNV, API).
  • Experience with engineering calculations is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Work location: Jurong East
  • Work Schedule: 5.5-Day Work Week
  • Working Hours:Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
