Introduction

Brunel is looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to work on a temporary contract (6 months) with one of our clients in the oil and gas sector! This position will be 100% on-site at their office located in Rio de Janeiro (RJ).

What are you going to do

  • Perform monthly entries, analyses, and reconciliations.
  • Review monthly and annual balance sheets and financial statements.
  • Provide support for monthly/annual accounting closings.
  • Prepare technical reports with accounting/tax information for review by the Supervisory and/or Management.
  • Assist in sending electronic files and ancillary obligations forwarded by Accounting, such as SPED accounting and tax reports.
  • Perform tax classification and issue invoices whenever requested.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Accounting Sciences with active CRC (Brazilian Accounting Council) registration.
  • MBA in Finance or Controllership.
  • Experience in accounting activities, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector.
  • Advanced Office Suite skills.
  • Intermediate/Advanced English.
  • Knowledge of Financial Mathematics.
