Safety Representative

Seeking an experienced Safety Representative with 10+ years in mining to lead safety initiatives, ensure compliance with HSE regulations, and drive a strong safety culture. Must have a solid background in risk assessments, incident management, and mining operations (open-pit or underground). Strong communication and leadership skills required.
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of site-wide safety programs aligned with Indonesian mining regulations and Freeport's global HSE standards.
Conduct advanced risk assessments, hazard identification, and job safety analyses (JSA).
Mentor and coach junior safety officers and operational staff on safety leadership and compliance.
Oversee complex incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action tracking.
Coordinate with government regulators and ensure audit readiness for SMKP, ISO, and internal HSE audits.
Develop and deliver specialized training on high-risk mining operations (e.g., blasting, heavy equipment, confined space).
Drive safety culture initiatives across departments and lead safety performance reviews with management.
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Mining Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 10 years' experience in mining or heavy industry, with at least 5 in a supervisory HSE role.
Certified Ahli K3 Umum or K3 Pertambangan (mandatory).
Deep understanding of Indonesian SMKP, Permen ESDM, and international HSE standards (e.g., ISO 45001).
Proven leadership in high-risk environments and strong cross-functional coordination skills.
Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency preferred.
