Introduction

Brunel is currently searching for a Planning Maintenance Reliability Engineer for direct hire with our client located in Morenci, Arizona.

In this role you will lead and support reliability projects to improve safety, equipment up time and cost efficiency.

What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities:* Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance performance.
* Monitor and improve KPIs like maintenance availability and downtime.* Review project documentation and ensure accuracy.
* Oversee small to mid-size construction or expansion projects.* Manage vendor contracts and ensure timely delivery of equipment or services.
* Stay informed on safety and environmental regulations.* Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site.


Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, etc.)
* 2-3 years of engineering experience (depending on education level)* Knowledge of reliability principles, statistical analysis, and risk assessment
* Strong safety awareness and communication skills
Preferred Requirements:* Certifications: CMRP, SMRP, Six Sigma, or Project Management
* Experience with SAP, AutoCAD, CMMS systems* Familiarity with RCFA, FMECA, and regulatory compliance (MSHA/OSHA)
* Hands-on planning, scheduling, and vendor coordination experience* Strong data analysis, reporting, and documentation skills
* Knowledge of CBM and RCM strategies

Offer:Position offers a competitive salary based on experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations base on company and individual performance. This role is required to in-person at client's mine site and out of area candidate may be eligible for a $750/monthly housing allowance. Candidate must be able to pass medical exam, pre-employment drug testing, background check etc.
