Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join the LNGPP Project with our client in remote area project. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost planning, budgeting, and contract administration to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual obligations. Play a key role in providing accurate cost forecasting, monitoring expenditures, evaluating variations, and supporting commercial decision making throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver clear financial insights and effective cost control strategies. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic project environment while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for the project.
Monitor, track, and control project expenditures against approved budgets.
Evaluate and manage contract variations, claims, and change orders.
Review and verify contractor/subcontractor invoices and progress claims.
Ensure all commercial and contractual documentation is accurate and compliant with project requirements.
Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project efficiency.
Provide regular cost reports and financial insights to project management and stakeholders.
Support procurement activities, including tendering, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
Collaborate with engineers, planners, and site teams to ensure alignment between technical and commercial aspects.
Identify potential financial and contractual risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in large-scale EPC or mining projects (experience in LNG, oil & gas, or industrial facilities is preferred).
Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration, and project control principles.
Familiarity with international standards and best practices in commercial management.
Proficiency in MS Excel, cost estimation software, and project management tools.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work effectively in remote area project environment and adapt to multicultural teams.
