Introduction

  • Assist in setting up annual HSE objectives; monitor and provide needed support for realization of HSE objectives.
  • Acts as custodian and focal point for directorate HSE risk register. Consolidate department level HSE risks, develop and maintain directorate level HSE risk register.
  • Acts as custodian and focal point for directorate HSE compliance and obligation register.
  • Monitor, consolidate and report department compliance against these requirements.
  • Acts as custodian and focal point for Project Execution Directorate QHSE training register.
  • Laisse with department training focal points for staff identification and acquisition of various HSE awareness and training mandated by corporate standard.
  • Identify improvements and amendments needed in Project Execution Directorate EMS documents (Procedures, Standards, and Guideline etc.) from HSE perspective and support during their review and update.
  • Perform required analysis of project and department HSE data and periodically report HSE performance and compliance status on these parameters Project Execution Directorate and corporate BC.

What are you going to do

  • Provide needed support to Project Execution Directorate Management Representative (RMR) on matters related to HSE for maintaining Project Execution Directorate’s ISO certification, identify and proactively communicate with department’s HSE function on these matters.
  • Conduct periodic building HSE risk assessments and building HSE inspections at different locations occupied by Project Execution Directorate staff.
  • • Participate in the capacity of HSE management in HSE incident investigation, HSE lessons learned, emergency preparedness and evacuation, and Supplier Performance Evaluation (SPE).
  • Participate in HSE audit and inspection as needed; assist department’s HSE representatives and Management Representatives (RMRs) in carrying out corrective actions against internal and external HSE audit findings.
  • Disseminate HSE related information and changes, communicate HSE themes, alerts, and promotions to relevant staff.
  • Participate in HSE improvement projects and initiatives, as determined by management.
  • Plan and oversee as needed, management tours to incite HSE commitment at different working levels within Project Execution Directorate.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree level in Financial Accounting or a related field
  • Ten years (10) years’ experience in a business environment with specific exposure in
  • Business Analysis relating to Project Management required, preferably in oil and gas industry and within SAP FI/CO module. Minimum 5 years in a senior position.
  • Minimum 5 years implementation and support experience in SAP FI/CO Module and knowledge in integration with other SAP modules.
  • SAP Certification in SAP relevant module would be a distinct advantage.
  • Knowledge/ Exposure of SAP FI/CO, PS, CATS and BW modules.
  • Experience in Business Process Analysis, Modelling, Optimizing and Workflow automation.
  • Experience in business process analysis, modelling, notation, process improvement methodologies, optimization strategies and statistical process control.
  • Documentation and diagramming approaches are used to describe typical business components including entity relationship diagrams, process diagrams, and workflow diagrams.
  • Good exposure of Project Management principles and practices.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Thorough understanding of Business Process management and ability to plan / conduct study and document the results.
  • Good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills are required to provide the support and produce documentation.
  • A proven self-starter and team player and be able to coordinate with other team members in completing assigned tasks.
  • Expert proficiency in using MS Office suite applications.
