Introduction
The job holder is accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour regarding H3SE rules & requirements and for implementing H3SE rules within his area of responsibility.
The job holder is accountable for the following activities during Produced Water Disposal Relocation execution.
Major Projects involve the development of new offshore platforms bridge linked to the existing facilities, installation of subsea pipelines and debottlenecking of the produced water treatment, all these activities could be executed across several international sites. Projects will require complex interfaces with other entities of Company as well as with other Block 5 operators.
Based in Doha, with possibility of worldwide missions.
What are you going to do
To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other Company HSE procedures in all EPCIC activities, to carry out work in compliance with Company values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed Company priorities and objectives, Company standards and procedures and good industry practices;
To treat all information obtained during course of the work with confidentiality;
To coordinate a team composed of dedicated engineers, depending on PWDR activities;
To manage assistance from shareholder specialists (remote head office), when required during all phases;
To ensure that contractor clarification requests and deviation requests are reviewed and responded to in a timely manner during CFT;
Follow-up the progress of the engineering works performed by the Contractor, the timely issue of the engineering documents, drawings lists and document index according to the approved MDR schedule;
Provide engineering and vendor documentation distribution matrix inputs to DCC group and update as necessary along the project execution;
To ensure during EPCI phase follow-up of vendor documentation reviews in compliance with design dossier, SOR, Company specifications, corporate standard and HSE regulation, international codes, and classification society rules;
To promote value engineering during Detail Engineering and maintain list of design opportunities with collaboration with discipline Engineers in the facility design with objective to reduce Project capital expenditures;
To follow up Project Reviews by ensuring availability of required documentation and ensure timely closure of findings/opportunities in coordination with Construction when needed, PMT and auditors;
To manage assistance from shareholder specialists (remote head office), when required during all phases;
To assist EPC contract management with regards to all technical, commercial and contractual issues arising during PWDR Works execution and liaise with Package Lead on regular basis on that matter;
To encourage identification of any optimization / improvement in the design dossier to be implemented in the early stage of concept design;
To promote alternatives solutions to reduce and to optimize the duration of offshore activities;
To ensure that relevant feedback from previous similar projects is considered project works performance;
To participate and/or manage weekly and monthly meetings with Contractor(s), and call specific ad hoc meetings as required;
Anticipate Potential Change Order and propose to management optimized way forward;
Perform the Technical Assessment of Change Order Request issued by the Contractor;
Organize the Final Documentation delivery from the outset of the Contract execution;
To participate on follow up on the Project progress and risk reporting;
To carry out any other duty or task that may be assigned by hierarchical superiors.
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering;
At least 5 years’ experience in the offshore oil & gas project;
At least 5 years’ experience within a project team in large multinational taskforce team environment;
Experience in tendering, procurement, and engineering processes;
Available for technical missions worldwide;
Familiar with Total General Specifications, MOQ standards and relevant codes and standards;
Fluent English;
Computer literate;
Good leadership skills and good communication skills;
Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment;
Good analytical skills;
H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
