* Coordinate with discipline leads and contractors to ensure alignment of detailed schedules with the overall project timeline.* Lead the development of baseline schedules, including resource loading.
* Monitor progress against baseline and forecast schedules, identifying delays and recommending recovery plans.* Implement and manage planning tools and ensure consistent use across all stakeholders.
* Track and report physical progress, earned value, and schedule performance.* Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for senior management and stakeholders.
* Coordinate with contractors to review and validate monthly progress reports and updates.* Support the preparation of Steering Committee presentations, highlighting key risks, achievements, and deviations.
* Maintain accurate and auditable records of planning data, progress curves, and performance trends.* Ensure EPCC Contractor develops resource histograms, manpower plans, and productivity tracking.
* Assist in forecasting cost impacts of schedule changes and delays.* Provide input for budget planning, cash flow projections, and cost control strategies.
* Provide planning input for contract strategy, tender evaluations, and contractor selection.* Support the assessment and documentation of claims, variations, and extension of time (EOT) requests.
* Ensure planning deliverables comply with EPCC contract requirements and project procedures.* Interface with Document Control to ensure timely availability and traceability of planning-related documents.
* Coordinate with discipline leads and project managers to ensure cost plans reflect scope, schedule, and resource requirements.* Assist in establishing baseline budgets and monitor changes throughout the project lifecycle.
* Track and report actual costs, commitments, and accruals against approved budgets.* Analyze cost variances and trends and recommend corrective actions to mitigate overruns.
* Implement and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics such as CPI (Cost Performance Index) and TCPI (To-Complete Performance Index).* Prepare and present monthly cost reports, forecasts, and executive summaries for project leadership and stakeholders.
* Evaluate cost impacts of scope changes, variation orders, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).* Support Project Management in the assessment and documentation of claims and disputes.
* Update forecasts and budgets to reflect approved changes and ensure alignment with funding plans.* Maintain a Change Log and ensure traceability of all cost-related changes.
* Conduct, schedule risk assessments and participate in quantitative risk analysis (e.g., Monte Carlo simulations).* Identify schedule-related risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation or acceleration strategies.
* Support the development and maintenance of the Project Risk Register in coordination with the Risk Manager.* Identify and assess cost-related risks and opportunities in collaboration with the Risk Manager.
* Recommend and monitor contingency allocations and drawdown strategies.* Support quantitative risk analysis and scenario planning to evaluate financial exposure.
* Prepare cost and schedule inputs for Project Monthly Reports, Steering Committee presentations, and internal reviews.* Maintain centralized and auditable records of cost data, forecasts, and historical trends.
* Document and submit Lessons Learned related to cost control and financial management.* Interface with Planning, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams to ensure cost control alignment across disciplines.
* Support the Senior Project Control Engineer in decision-making, resource allocation, and performance reviews.* Participate in planning coordination meetings with internal teams, contractors, and consultants.
