Introduction

You'll be responsible for running civil road projects end to end, managing site teams, subcontractors and client relationships. The role will suit someone comfortable taking ownership of programme, cost and delivery while working closely with senior leadership.

What are you going to do

  • Manage full project lifecycle from mobilisation through to completion
  • Oversee programme, budgets, forecasting and cost control
  • Manage subcontractors, site teams and suppliers
  • Maintain strong client relationships and stakeholder communication
  • Ensure compliance with TfNSW specifications, safety and quality standards
  • Monitor project performance and report on progress, risks and outcomes
  • Drive programme and resolve issues to keep projects on track

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager on civil road or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of TfNSW standards and delivery requirements
  • Background working with Tier 2 or Tier 1 civil contractors
  • Experience managing budgets, subcontractors and project programmes
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership and deliver projects independently
