Introduction

We are recruiting a Project Engineering (Main line) - AM/DM to join one of our leading multinational clients and their expanding team. This position is based in Ahmedabad and offers an excellent opportunity for experienced proposal management professionals in the Renewables sector.

What are you going to do

Position: Project Engineering (Main line) - AM/DM

Contract: Permanent Role.

The PE – Main Line will be responsible for project execution and integration of core solar module manufacturing equipment. This includes installation, commissioning, layout planning, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery aligned with business timelines.

Oversee installation and commissioning of core module manufacturing equipment (e.g., tabbers, stringers, laminators, lay-up stations, EL testers, framing, and packing lines).
Coordinate with OEMs for technical discussions, FAT/SAT, and acceptance testing.
Ensure optimal equipment layout and utility provisions in accordance with production flow and cleanroom norms.
Track project schedules, costs, and performance metrics to ensure on-time and within-budget execution.
Collaborate with production, process, quality, and maintenance teams for successful handover.
Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and compliance standards during execution.
Prepare documentation, technical reports, and equipment manuals

Essential skills and knowledge

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
5–10 years of experience in solar module manufacturing equipment or similar high-tech capital equipment.
Strong understanding of module production line flow and automation integration.
