Introduction

The Project Buyer will be responsible for managing the procurement process for specific projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining a keen focus on quality and compliance. The Project Buyer will play a critical role in supporting the success of our projects by optimizing the supply chain and driving efficiency.

What are you going to do

Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for various projects.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement activities.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist in a project-based environment
Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Knowledge of contract management and supplier relationship management
