Job Summary
As a professional expert in I&C, responsible for execution strategy, execution plan, interface management, basic data, risk control, design philosophy, etc. Identify the potential project risks and develop appropriate mitigation measures.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and coordinate with the client on I&C design philosophy and technical issues, and figure outthe solution.
- Coordinate with the client and third parties, as well as national and local regulations, to address relevant issues and close out review comments.
- Responsible for technical tender document review, technical clarification, preparing or reviewing the TBE, etc.
- Provide technical training and guidance to designers regularly, with no less than 6 times or 20 hours of training per year.
- Be responsible for other related work assigned by the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or higher;
- More than 12 years of working experience in I&C design of offshore fixed platform or floating oil and gas production facilities, including more than 5 years of international projects. With Middle East project working experience (like ADNOC, QatarEnergy, Saudi Aramco, etc.) is preferred. Working experience in internationally renowned engineering companies, such as Technip, Worley, Wood, Flour, McDermott, is preferred.
- Familiar with I&C expertise (such as DCS, SIS, FGS, HIPS, wellhead control panel, oil and gas custody transfer, control valve, ESDV, flowmeter, etc), technical specifications (SIL, HAZOP, fire and gas mapping, cyber security, etc), and industry regulations and policies (such as IEC, ISO, EN, API, NFPA, ASME, ANSI, ISA, NEMA, AGA, ASTM, shell DEP, BP standards, TOTAL standard, NORSOK, etc.)
- Familiar with the design procedure of international projects, strong ability to develop and manage technical solutions, promptly identify and resolve issues, and effectively control and mitigate risks.
- Proficient in instrument control design software, such as SPI, INSTRUCALC, AutoCAD, etc., proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.
- Work diligently, rigorously, with a strong sense of responsibility, hardworking, and can work overtime if required as per the project plan.
- Have rich experience in shipyard or site technical support, following domestic or overseas business trips, and overseas work arrangements as per project requirements.
- Proficient in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with native English speakers being preferred.
