Introduction

Provides welding engineering support for Offshore Project, ensuring that all technical requirements (e.g., project specifications, project materials, welding specifications, data sheets, etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardised processes. Additionally, provides Functional Safety design support to pipeline engineering manager ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standards

What are you going to do

Provides welding engineering support for Offshore Project, ensuring that all technical requirements (e.g., project specifications, project materials, welding specifications, data sheets, etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardised processes. Additionally, provides Functional Safety design support to pipeline engineering manager ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standards

Essential skills and knowledge

Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Knowledge and/or Experience

8 years' experience in relevant engineering roles, including 4 years in the Oil & Gas Industry.
Previous knowledge of Greenfield engineering and execution required.

Technical and Business Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.
A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications
Good knowledge of subsea systems, onshore pipeline, subsea pipeline, spools and risers materials and welding engineering.

Salary:

Day Rate in USD Plus Allowance

Work Schedule:

10 Hours / 6 Days

Duration:
- 36 months, with possible extension
Location:
- Qatar
