Introduction

Als OT Engineer zorg jij dat de procesautomatisering betrouwbaar, veilig en toekomstbestendig draait. Je werkt aan PLC-, DCS- en SCADA-systemen en borgt de cybersecurity van industriële netwerken. Zo lever jij directe impact bij een organisatie die circulariteit en innovatie centraal stelt.

What are you going to do 

  • Je beheert en optimaliseert de operationele technologie (OT) binnen de afdeling, inclusief DCS/PLC-systemen, netwerken, servers en SCADA-koppelingen.
  • Je borgt de cybersecurity met firewalls, VLAN's, antivirussoftware en gecontroleerde toegang voor externe partijen.
  • Je analyseert systemen, voert verbetervoorstellen door en voorkomt knelpunten in de procesautomatisering.
  • Je begeleidt technische implementaties binnen projecten en zorgt voor naadloze integratie in bestaande infrastructuur.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor een veilige en volledige dataoverdracht van OT naar IT-systemen.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Jij bent analytisch sterk, werkt gestructureerd en schakelt makkelijk tussen verschillende disciplines. Je begrijpt zowel de technische inhoud als het belang van duidelijke communicatie richting interne en externe stakeholders.

  • Een afgeronde mbo 4-opleiding in industriële automatisering of vergelijkbaar, met hbo werk- en denkniveau.
  • Ruime ervaring als OT Engineer of vergelijkbare functie in industriële automatisering.
  • Kennis van DCS- en PLC-systemen (Siemens S7), SCADA-koppelingen, en netwerkinfrastructuren.
  • Bekend met firewalls, switches, virtuele omgevingen, protocollen zoals OPC, Profibus, Profinet en Modbus.
  • Inzicht in procesregelingen en besturingsalgoritmen binnen productieomgevingen.
