Introduction

Mine Plan Engineer Superintendent to lead mine planning activities and support safe, efficient, and optimized mining operations in Sulawesi.

This is a key technical leadership position for a mining professional with strong nickel mining and mine planning experience.

What are you going to do

Lead and supervise the Mine Planning team and ensure effective delivery of planning activities.
Develop and manage short-, medium-, and long-term mine plans.
Prepare mine schedules, production targets, and operational plans.
Optimize mine design, mining sequences, production, and equipment utilization.
Work closely with Geology, Mining Operations, Survey, and Technical Services teams.
Monitor actual mining performance against plans and recommend corrective actions.
Support production forecasting, resource optimization, and mine development strategies.
Ensure mine plans comply with technical, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Mine Planning Engineers and the wider technical team.

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong and proven experience in Nickel Mining - mandatory.
Significant experience in Mine Planning / Technical Services, preferably in an operating mine.
Previous experience in a Superintendent or senior technical leadership role is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of mine planning, scheduling, pit design, production optimization, and mine development.
Proficiency in relevant mine planning software.
Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Willingness to be based at the mine site in Sulawesi.
