Introduction

The Manpower Planning Assistant will support the Project Controls and Site Operations leadership in tracking, coordinating, and auditing site manpower allocations across all direct-hire and sub-contractor personnel. Operating in a high-volume, remote FIFO environment, this role ensures accurate headcount tracking, man-hour reconciliation against site baselines, rotational schedule coordination, and seamless administrative support for workforce logistics.

What are you going to do

  • Daily Manpower Tracking: Maintain site headcount records, tracking daily craft loading, contractor strength, and site mobilization/demobilization.

  • Timesheet & Man-Hour Auditing: Verify daily/weekly contractor timesheets, man-hour allocations, and progress logs against approved project baselines.

  • Rotation & Roster Support: Coordinate 6:2 FIFO rotational schedules, leave rosters, and site flight/accommodation bookings alongside HR and site logistics teams.

  • Compliance & Onboarding: Track site clearance documentation, badges, and site inductions for incoming contractor personnel.

  • Reporting: Prepare daily manpower dashboards, craft histograms, and headcount variance summaries for site leadership.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, HR, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in manpower tracking, site HR, or project controls support in mining, heavy construction, or remote industrial projects.

  • Software Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel (data management, formulas, pivot tables) and site database systems.

  • Roster Commitment: Willingness and physical fitness to work on a 6 weeks ON / 2 weeks OFF rotation on-site in Papua.

  • Languages: Business fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and working knowledge of English.
