Introduction
The Mechanical Rotating Supervisor is responsible for overseeing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, and gearboxes. This role ensures all mechanical works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards, project specifications, and industry regulations.
What are you going to do
* Supervise mechanical rotating activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project schedule.* Monitor installation, alignment, testing, and commissioning of rotating equipment.
* Inspect materials and equipment for compliance with approved specifications and standards.* Review and approve method statements, procedures, and work instructions.
* Participate in JHA, HAZOP, and safety meetings related to rotating equipment.* Coordinate with other disciplines, contractors, and supervisors to resolve site issues.
* Prepare and submit regular progress and inspection reports to management.
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
* Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.* Minimum 8 years of experience in Mechanical Rotating Engineering, preferably in EPC projects.
* Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, generators, and agitators.* Familiar with international codes and standards: ASME, API, ANSI, ASTM, DIN, JIS, ISO.
* Experience in equipment specification, vendor coordination, and supplier compliance.* Knowledge of rotating equipment protection systems and risk assessment (HAZOP).
* Strong coordination, problem-solving, and site leadership skills.* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
