Introduction

On behalf of our client, a Tier 1 Mining Company, Brunel is presently recruiting a Material Logistics Officer - Consolidator, Mobile Maintenance to support Mobile Maintenance operations through the coordination of parts, components and planned work materials. This will be a casual contract FIFO from Perth working an 8:6 roster, 12 hours per day based in the Pilbara.

What are you going to do

Working closely with Planning, Warehouse and Execution teams, you will be responsible for parts readiness, SAP updates, material movements, shutdown staging, return-to-stock processes and stakeholder coordination to support maintenance schedules and operational performance.

  • Monitor and action the MLO Consolidator inbox
  • Support weekly planned maintenance activities and 48-hour plans
  • Coordinate parts availability for planned work
  • Update SAP with accurate stock and location information
  • Escalate parts shortages, delays and risks to planners
  • Coordinate component movements and back freight requirements
  • Process return-to-stock transactions and inventory returns
  • Support shutdown staging and parts consolidation activities
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and transport documentation
  • Participate in planning meetings and stakeholder communications
  • Complete detailed shift handovers and maintain handover records
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Previous experience in Mining, Mobile Maintenance, Materials Logistics, Warehouse Coordination, Planning support or a similar operational environment is desirable
  • Previous SAP experience is essential accompanied with Microsoft Outlook
  • Experience coordinating parts, components, staging areas, returns and back freight
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • High attention to detail and record accuracy
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Forklift Ticket
  • C Class Driver's Licence
  • Ability to work across workshop, warehouse, yard and staging environments
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Commitment to safe work practices and housekeeping standards
