Introduction

Brunel Papua New Guinea are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Master Data Specialist for our client based up in Papua New Guinea. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment within the extractive industry.

What are you going to do 

As a Master Data Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing SAP master data related within our clients SAP system. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data, while also providing support to various modules like Material Management (MM), Plant Maintenance (PM) and others. They develop and implement data governance policies, perform data cleansing, and support users with master data related task. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

TOP 3 PRIORITIES OF ROLE:

  • Identify gaps in communication between departments and create strategies to bridge the gaps.
  • Identify work management process gaps within the planning space LT/ST and create strategies to improve the process.
  • Identify low performance areas and assist in building skill set or knowledge by conducting one on one trainings.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Proven experience in managing master data
  • Knowledge of FIFO operations
  • Familiarity with Papua New Guinea (PNG) regulations and practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools
