Logistics Engineer

In het logistieke center wat het kloppende hart is van onze klant - staat de logistieke efficiëntie centraal. In het distributiecentrum van onze klant wereldwijd, ligt de focus op precisie, service en duurzaamheid. Als Logistics Engineer maak je deel uit van het Warehouse Engineering team, dat zich richt op continue verbetering van de operationele processen binnen het magazijn.

What are you going to do

In deze rol sta je in voor:

Analyseren en optimaliseren van materiaal- en informatiestromen binnen het magazijn, van leverancier tot klant.
Ontwerpen van logistieke procesflows op basis van operationele noden en strategische doelstellingen.
Ondersteunen van implementaties zoals het dynamisch normeringsmodel (tijdstudies, methodeanalyse).
Coördineren en uitvoeren van verbeteracties, waaronder Kaizen-workshops en Focus Improvement initiatieven.
Analyseren van data met als doel maximale zonebenutting, productiviteit en kwaliteit in de warehouse operations.

Essential skills and knowledge

Hard skills

Opleiding in Engineering of gelijkwaardig door bewezen relevante ervaring.
Minstens enkele jaren ervaring in een logistieke of magazijnomgeving.
Kennis van data-analyse, procesontwerp en warehouse management.
Ervaring met optimalisatie van logistieke stromen is essentieel.
Holistische, end-to-end kijk op logistieke vraagstukken.
Bekend met continuous improvement tools (zoals Lean, Kaizen).
Technische affiniteit met logistieke systemen en procesautomatisatie.

Soft skills

Teamspeler die vlot cross-functioneel kan samenwerken.
Sterk analytisch denkvermogen en probleemoplossend vermogen.
In staat om prioriteiten te stellen in een dynamische omgeving.
Hands-on, pragmatisch en reflectief ingesteld.
Communicatief sterk, met vlotte beheersing van zowel Nederlands als Engels.
