Als IT-Systemadministrator (m/w/d) unterstützen Sie die Brunel Car Synergies (BCS) in Hildesheim bei der modernen Weiterentwicklung und dem zuverlässigen Betrieb unserer IT-Landschaft. Sie arbeiten im kleinen, eingespielten Team und übernehmen verantwortungsvolle Aufgaben in den Bereichen Linux, Netzwerk und IT-Sicherheit.

What are you going to do

  • Administration und Weiterentwicklung unserer Linux-basierten Server- und Client-Infrastruktur (z. B. Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL)
  • Betrieb, Überwachung und Optimierung unserer Netzwerkkomponenten (Switches, Firewalls, VPN, Routing)
  • Umsetzung und Weiterentwicklung von IT-Sicherheitsmaßnahmen nach aktuellen Standards (z. B. BSI, ISO 27001, TISAX)
  • Betreuung des 1st- und 2nd-Level-Supports für unsere internen Mitarbeitenden
  • Einrichtung, Wartung und Dokumentation von IT-Arbeitsplätzen & Serverumgebungen
  • Unterstützung bei Virtualisierungslösungen (z. B. VMware, Proxmox)
  • Automatisierung von Abläufen mittels PowerShell, Bash oder Python
  • Pflege sicherheitsrelevanter IT-Dokumentationen inklusive regelmäßiger System- und Sicherheitsaudits

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Abgeschlossene IT-Ausbildung (z. B. Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Administration von Linux-Systemen
  • Fundiertes Wissen in den Bereichen TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Routing
  • Erfahrung im Umgang mit Firewalls, Security-Konzepten, Patch- und Log-Management
  • Kenntnisse in der Virtualisierung (VMware, Proxmox) von Vorteil
  • Routine im Schreiben von Scripts (PowerShell, Bash oder Python)
  • Strukturierte, verantwortungsbewusste und teamorientierte Arbeitsweise
  • Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
