Introduction

On behalf of our client, one of the world’s great energy production corporations, we are looking for an Issuing Authority to work within the Development Projects team.

Reporting to the Phase 2B Operations Interface Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of the Phase 2B Integrated Hook-Up and Commissioning (IHUC) project. Your primary responsibility will be in the administration of Permit to Work (PTW).

What are you going to do

Occupational Health and Safety:

  • Conduct all activities in strict adherence to company policies and procedures, prioritizing personnel welfare, asset protection, and environmental safety.
  • Actively participate in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) meetings, audits, and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with companyFitness for Work Policy and understand and adhere to all HSE protocols and procedures.

Compliance:

  • Utilize and apply PTW control within the system at the appropriate level of authority.
  • Understand commitments and responsibilities under Safety Case requirements.
  • Manage PTW interface between project and operations teams in line with behavioral and technical expectations.

Planning:

  • Assist in the preparation of project implementation and commissioning work-packs for IHUC.
  • Administer PTW for all IHUC activities.

Risk Management:

  • Assist in identifying and documenting risks associated with project work scopes.
  • Effectively identify risks associated with concurrent project and operations activities.

Technical Expertise:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in administering PTW systems and apply knowledge to daily tasks.
  • Possess knowledge of Offshore Production facilities and associated risks.
  • Ability to multitask effectively within assigned tasks.

Safety:

  • Proactively ensure adherence to safe working practices within operational facilities.
  • Participate in generating and utilizing Risk assessments.
  • Ensure correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used at all times.
  • Demonstrate influence in HSE within immediate peer group.

Quality:

  • Report all parameters/conditions found outside normal operating guidelines to the Interface Team Leader or responsible engineers.

Technical Systems:

  • Permit to Work Engica (ISSoW)
  • Bluebeam
  • SAP

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Australian Full working rights
  • Demonstrate experience administering PTW systems.
  • Apply knowledge to daily tasks.
  • Knowledgeable in Offshore Production facilities and associated risks.
  • Able to multitask effectively within assigned tasks.
  • Achieved Cert. level 3 in Process Plant Operations or equivalent experience demonstrated.
  • Fully competent Issuing Authority with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in oil and gas.
  • Offshore experience on Ichthys facility preferred.
  • SAP (Preferred)
