Brunel is recruiting Instrumentation and Control Coordinators to work in Midkiff, TX for initially 1 year contract.
The Instrument Controls Coordinator is responsible for providing technical expertise and maintenance support for instrumentation and control systems.
This role requires a strong understanding of safety, health, security, and environmental requirements (SSHE).
The coordinator acts as a subject matter expert for instrumentation and control equipment, including analyzers and control systems.
Responsibilities:
- Supports maintenance teams with technical guidance, complex troubleshooting, and maintenance planning.
- Participate in constructability reviews, maintenance design reviews, turnaround activities, and new project support.
- Must be able to influence others without direct authority and work closely with operations and maintenance teams.
- Strong communication and networking skills are required to interact effectively with different groups across the organization.
- Implement maintenance design philosophies and follow project specifications for instrumentation and control systems.
- Provide subject matter expertise for instrumentation, control systems, and analyzers.
- Support troubleshooting of complex instrumentation and control issues.
- Assist operations during peak workloads when needed.
- Participate in constructability and maintenance design reviews.
- Support engineering during routine maintenance, turnarounds, and new projects.
- Provide technical support for risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental requirements.
- Support conceptual studies and pre-FEED (Front End Engineering Design) activities.
- Support cost management activities.
- Assist with productivity improvement plans.
- Provide input for training development and delivery.
- Share best practices and provide feedback for process improvements.
- Develop and maintain personal technical expertise and share knowledge through networking.
