Introduction

We are recruiting a HSE Engineer to join one of our leading multinational clients and their expanding team. This position is based in Bikaner and offers an excellent opportunity for experienced proposal management professionals in the Renewables Energy sector.

What are you going to do 

Position: HSE Engineer.

Contract: On Contract Role.

  • Actively support and participate in various management system audit like IMS internal audit, Quality audit, Safey audit.
  • Plan & conduct safety & environmental Inspection (including Legal compliance) within sites. Identify the improvement points to strengthen the implementation of HSE system.
  • Sound knowledge on Risk management process related Operational activities for PV Solar project to identify hazards and define control measure to ensure safety at site.
  • Understand the Environmental Aspect and Impact related to Operational activities for PV solar project to ensure environmental requirements are met.
  • Lead and drive HSE management system to ensure Zero LTI at site.
  • Maintain HSE records and statistics updated, orderly and easily retrievable manner.
  • Monitor, Support, Guide to contractors on hazardous, Non-hazardous and battery waste management as per Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board.
  • Extend active support in organizing contractor reviews on Mock drills, HSE committee meeting, Safety Quiz, Safety survey etc.
  • Support on Mock drill on various aspects. Define actions on identified observations to monitor and improve the emergency response during emergency at site.
  • Lead to celebrate various days (like Road & National safety week, Electrical safety day, Environmental day & world health and safety day) at site.
  • Plan and execute the Safety Walk along with the contractor to identify the safety observations in term of unsafe acts & conditions. Corrective measures to be defined to monitor through tracking sheet for closure & implementation.
  • Reporting of all incidents and maintained records. Actively participate in incident investigation process and ensure implementation at site.
  • Involve and Support on Social initiaves taken up during operational phase.
  • Maintain the training records which execute at site (like attendance sheet, participant feedback form) and submit to HR Dept.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • B.E OR Diploma in Electrical Engineering Plus Safety qualification (Advanced diploma in Industrial Safety from state technical boards is must)
  • For B.E – 8 years or Diploma with 10 years of experience in managing Safety & Environmental area in Solar) + Minimum 3 years of experience during Operation and Maintenance phase.
  • Experience in Wind farms site is an added advantage.
  • Good Communication & Presentation skills.
  • Qualified auditor for safety management System.
  • Sound knowledge on Environment, Occupational health- safety Management System including legal requirements related to PV solar.
  • Able to speak Hindi and English.
