Introduction

What are you going to do

  • Has significant experience, technical knowledge and valid license to operate a fire-fighting vehicle, (e.g. single cab or double cab fire tender)
  • Capable of performing minor vehicle maintenance.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Has background experience as a fire fighter in an oil/gas, petrochemical, power and water utilities or equivalent industry for a minimum of 5 years.
  • License to operate/ drive a heavy vehicle (specifically fire fighting vehicle) with previous valid license from authorized issuing party (e.g. Traffic Directorate)
  • (MUST) NFPA 1001Certification as Firefighter 1and 2
  • Attended relevant training on handling hazardous events or incidents such as HAZMAT Awareness and HAZMAT Operations
  • Physically and Medically Fit
  • Age limit: 45 years old
  • Must have excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Has significant knowledge in Heavy vehicle and Pump Operations.
  • Has ability to carry out vehicle inspection.
  • Has knowledge on fire safety inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers, indoor/outdoor hydrants and fire hoses.
  • Has relevant knowledge in industrial firefighting system such water-based system, foam deluge system.
  • Advance First Aider and knowledge on AED.

    • Monthly Rate in QAR Plus Allowance

    • 8 Hours / 5 Days

    • 2 years, with possible extension
