Farm Manager

Our client is a proudly Australian, family-owned business and the largest poultry producer owned and operated in Queensland. Established close to a century ago, the company now raises tens of millions chickens annually across its facilities throughout South-East Queensland.
Duties:
Oversee and coordinate all farm operations
Ensure the availability of appropriately trained personnel for specialised tasks such as vaccination, shed inspections, bird grading, and related activities.
Conduct serological monitoring and ensure all medications are administered accurately and in accordance with established protocols.
Manage farm administrative responsibilities in line with company guidelines, including the timely completion of required reports and documentation.
About You:
Proven experience in the poultry industry is essential.
Strong understanding of animal welfare standards, legislative requirements, and Health, Safety & Environment policies and procedures.
Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, handle multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
A collaborative team player with demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to supervise staff and delegate tasks to achieve departmental goals.
Committed to upholding and striving toward industry best practice standards.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
