What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and inspect explosion-proof electrical equipment and instrumentation in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Perform routine checks and testing on EX-certified devices to ensure proper functionality.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to explosion-proof systems and carry out timely repairs.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and safety teams to implement best practices for hazardous area safety.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of maintenance activities and safety compliance.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and environmental guidelines on-site.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Qualifications:

  • Certificate or diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience working with explosion-proof electrical equipment in oil and gas or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of hazardous area classifications and relevant standards (e.g., ATEX, IECEx).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to safety and teamwork.
