Introduction

Our client is seeking a skilled Estimator to join their dynamic team. This permanent role offers you the chance to work with a company that contributes to transformative projects across Queensland, driving excellence in commercial construction. You'll play a pivotal role in the tendering process, working closely with the pre-construction and project delivery teams to ensure success from initial pricing through to contract negotiation and submission.

What are you going to do

Tender Sourcing & Assessment: Identify opportunities that align with client goals, timelines, and project scope.
Tender Preparation & Submission: Create accurate and competitive bids using CostX, adhering to compliance standards.
Collaboration: Partner with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure comprehensive tender coverage.
Client & Supplier Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships to drive project success.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure tenders meet all safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Essential skills and knowledge

Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial building estimation.
Proficiency in CostX estimating software or willingness to move to CostX.
In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies and project costing processes.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities with excellent attention to detail.
