Introduction

It's that time of year again! Our insurance builders are gearing up for a busy season, and many of our clients in the insurance and restoration space are experiencing a surge in workload. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and stable team, with strong systems and processes already in place, you'll be set up for success from day one.

What are you going to do

  • Prepare accurate estimates for insurance-related residential and commercial repair and rebuild projects
  • Liaise with loss adjusters, supervisors, and trades to clarify scope and cost details
  • Use estimating software to compile detailed and timely cost breakdowns
  • Review drawings, reports, and specifications to ensure accurate pricing
  • Manage variations, updates, and re-costing as required throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support the delivery team to ensure projects align with approved budgets

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven experience as an Estimator within the insurance or commercial construction sector
  • Strong understanding of insurance repair processes and cost structures
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Must be located in North Brisbane area only
