What are you going to do

Key responsibilities:

Prepare/load electrical single-line diagrams, cable schedules, power distribution layouts and tender/technical specifications.
Size/select generators, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS and protective devices per load data and codes.
Model and route cable trays/lanes in 3D (AVEVA/PDMS, SmartPlant/AutoPLANT or equivalent) and coordinate clashes with other disciplines.
Specify earthing, lightning protection, hazardous area classification and grounding systems; ensure VFDs and motor starting arrangements are defined.
Coordinate with instrumentation, mechanical, piping, HVAC and power systems; support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site installation and commissioning.
Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, API, DNV and client standards; perform electrical calculations and design checks.

Essential skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years electrical design experience in offshore/oil & gas (FPSO experience preferred).
Proficient with electrical design tools, cable management and 3D modeling platforms; strong knowledge of power systems and protection.
Good communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
