The Dimensional Surveyor will be responsible for dimensional control and survey activities throughout fabrication, module integration, construction, transportation and offshore installation phases of major offshore oil & gas projects. The incumbent will ensure all structures, modules, piping systems and equipment are installed within specified project tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional inspections and surveys during fabrication and installation activities.
- Verify dimensions, alignments, elevations and tolerances of structures and equipment.
- Conduct module integration and structural interface surveys.
- Perform equipment alignment and installation surveys.
- Support load-out, transportation and offshore installation surveys.
- Generate dimensional reports, as-built surveys and survey documentation.
- Utilise Total Stations, Laser Trackers, Laser Scanners and 3D metrology systems.
- Support quality assurance and dimensional compliance activities throughout project execution.
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Dimensional Surveyor within the Offshore Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in Total Station, Laser Tracker, Laser Scanner, GPS and 3D Metrology Systems.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, PDMS, E3D, Leica, Faro or equivalent survey software.
- Ability to interpret engineering, fabrication and survey drawings.
- Knowledge of ISO, API, ASME, NORSOK and Classification Society requirements.

- Work location: Tuas Shipyard Boulevard.
- Occasional business travel to Johor Bahru, Malaysia may be required depending on project needs.
- Monday to Saturday, 8:30am to 5:30pm schedule.
