What are you going to do

  • Prepare and review detailed engineering designs for marine and civil infrastructure
  • Coordinate with drafters and external consultants to produce high-quality documentation
  • Provide technical input during tenders, planning, and construction phases
  • Conduct site visits and support project teams with design queries
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards and specifications
  • Contribute to value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 3-8+ years' experience in civil, structural, or marine infrastructure projects
  • Solid understanding of structural design
  • Experience with tools such as Space Gass, Strand7, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D
  • Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach

Desirable

  • Experience with marine piling, jetties, wharves, or bridges
  • Exposure to temporary works or construction engineering
