Introduction

Brunel is seeking a Cost Analyst II to join its finance and cost control team in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The successful candidate will support cost reporting, forecasting, and analysis activities to ensure accurate financial tracking across projects and programs. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in SAP and Excel.

What are you going to do

  • Update cost reports semi-monthly and generate program cost metrics for management review.

  • Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to the Finance Department.

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve reporting discrepancies and errors.

  • Continuously improve and streamline reporting processes for better efficiency and accuracy.

  • Create SAP work orders and requisitions as needed.

  • Utilize EcoSys software (spreadsheet-based interface) for project forecasting.

  • Collaborate effectively with remote team members via MS Teams or Webex.

  • Ensure availability and timely reporting during key financial closing periods (business days 2-6 each month).

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (preferred).

  • 3-5 years of relevant cost analysis, financial reporting, or accounting experience.

  • Strong proficiency in SAP or equivalent accounting/ERP systems.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with solid working knowledge of Word and other MS Office tools.

  • Ability to quickly learn and work with EcoSys software.

  • Must be able to work onsite in downtown Bartlesville, OK.
