Introduction

Brunel is hiring a Contracts Advisor to work with a major oil and gas client in Spring, TX on a long term contract.

What are you going to do

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project contracting strategies and Contracting Plans
  • Manage contractor qualification, bid slates, and tender processes
  • Prepare and issue Invitation to Tender (ITT) packages * Serve as focal point for contractor communications and bid clarifications
  • Support commercial evaluation, negotiations, and contract award recommendations
  • Finalize contract documents and obtain required internal approvals
  • Support contract administration activities post-award, including kick-off meetings
  • Manage contract change control, invoicing, and compliance with contract terms
  • Review contractor and subcontractor plans for compliance with company requirements
  • Monitor contractor performance and support issue resolution
  • Support contract close-out and settlement of outstanding items

Essential skills and knowledge 

Qualifications

  • Experience in contracts engineering, contract administration, or related roles
  • Experience with EPC contracts, tendering, and commercial negotiations
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
  • Understanding of project execution and contracting principles
