What are you going to do

  • Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process.
  • Manages and ensures successful execution of LQ Topsides structures fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and others, as appropriate).
  • To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the Structure fabrication, Mechanical Completion to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.
  • To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.
  • To review deviations to Company construction standards for comments with Contractors / Subcontractors input, to deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials, procured and fabricated items, precom/com dossiers, as built …) for the construction activities.
  • Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.
  • Review Contractor's progress reports and reports for all the activities, highlighting critical problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any.
  • To Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all structure subject, MC,Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure the Contractors/Subcontractors progress follow up and reporting.
  • To Participate to Risk Assessments kick off meetings and Pre-Job Meetings, technical meeting etc. as required in accordance with Company's referential.
  • To participate to REX and Lessons Learned for the Company.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering
  • 8 years specific involvement in project execution with previous leading roles in structural Fabrication within an EPC contract execution environment in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel. Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for technical education.
