What are you going to do

Key responsibilities:

  • Execute RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids and recommend awards.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders/contract documents; manage order changes and close-out.
  • Source and qualify suppliers, negotiate terms, lead time and pricing.
  • Track procurement schedule, ensure timely delivery and resolve supply issues impacting construction/commissioning.
  • Coordinate with engineering, project controls, logistics, QA/QC and commercial teams on specifications, lead times, inspections and documentation.
  • Manage vendor performance, non-conformances and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, corporate procurement policies and export/import/customs requirements.
  • Maintain procurement records, cost tracking and reporting to project management.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years procurement experience in offshore/oil & gas or FPSO projects (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of marine/offshore equipment, materials and contracting practices.
  • Strong negotiation, commercial and contract administration skills.
  • Relevant degree or diploma in business, supply chain, engineering or equivalent; professional procurement certification desirable.
