Sr. Project Engineer

* Responsible for leading and coordinating project teams formed to provide complete project engineering and management to execute Process Platform/Facilities of the BH Redevelopment project.* Prepare and implement Project Execution Plans.
* Participate in Project Planning, Cost Control, Budgeting, Contract Administration, Progress Reporting, Change Management and Stage Gate approval activities.* Manage and coordinate a team of multidiscipline engineers to achieve timely review of deliverables and resolution of technical and engineering issues.
* Participate in the preparation of scope of work, tender packages, tendering process, evaluation of tenders and submissions with appropriate recommendations to relevant Tender Committees.* Monitor the performance and quality of works by EPIC contractor and Vendors and initiate remedial actions to ensure compliance to agreed milestones.
* Contribute to the risk management process through identification, mitigation, implementation, and close-out of identified project risks and issues.* Facilitate management of Project interfaces between EPIC Contractors and with various project stakeholders according to interface management plans.
* Ensure compliance to applicable HSE standards/regulations and Project Quality Standards in close coordination with QHSE engineers* Handles the assessment of Contractor's time and cost related claims.
* Reviews and recommends settlement of final accounts and variations to contracts* Ensure timely Project Handover and Completion.
* Responsible to ensure and follow-up on completion and handover certificates, punch list close-out, approval of SPIRs and SAP-CMMS leading to handover of project to asset holder.* Facilitate timely project close-out process.
* Prepare progress reports of projects for internal reporting and presentations.* Mentor Qatari Associates by ensuring that they receive proper job training to realize their full potential.
